Caroline Sofo, the founder of CES Educational Services, is rooted in the belief that every student holds a unique identity and untapped potential and that education is most powerful when it develops both.
With a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and 12 years as a research chemist, Caroline followed a deeper calling to education. For more than 20 years in education, she has brought a rare combination of analytical strategy and emotional intelligence to her work.
Her approach is personal, structured, and transformative. She believes education is one of the most powerful tools we have for understanding ourselves and our place in the world. Outside of her work, Caroline loves hiking, cooking, reading, and live music, and she is a proud mother and Nonna. She brings the same dedication to growth she inspires in her students.
Coach James is a vital part of our team at CES. His favorite subjects to coach are physics and math, but he is a versatile coach and can help your student with any subject they may need. He studied biomedical engineering at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He received his masters of biomedical sciences from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in May of 2021. In his free time, James enjoys challenging baking projects and hikes with his dog Remus.
Coach Maryrose has had an extensive and accomplished career in education ranging from teacher up through Superintendent, Principal and Adjunct Professor. She completed her Doctor of Education in Educational Administration & Supervision at Seton Hall University. Coach Maryrose is an adamant believer in creating learning based on systems-thinking which address the many different learning styles and needs of students. She is a passionate educational advocate committed to promoting experiences through creative, interactive and collaborative learning environments. In her spare time Maryrose enjoys musical theatre, her pitbull Misty and spending time with her family.
